Once, a man who was making a missionary journey was imprisoned by representatives of the imperial authorities. The prisoner awaiting the death penalty, under the supervision of the prefect, resigned himself to his unenviable fate.
Meanwhile, the "guard" is trying to understand how a tired old man can pose a threat to the existence of the Roman Empire?! While in prison, Pavel recalls his own life and the events that served as the beginning of his acquaintance with the Almighty. One day, a long-time acquaintance of the prisoner, doctor Luca, arrives in Rome, who decided to visit a friend, despite the dangers.
