Mid-eighties of the last century. Severely injured during the confrontation with the enemy Bumblebee, trying to escape from his pursuers, taking the form of a car, finds a safe shelter in a small settlement, at a dump truck. Soon, a pretty battered Autobot was accidentally discovered by Charlie Watson. A girl who is fond of mechanics, who will soon turn eighteen, despite her age is quite an independent person, building grandiose plans for the future.
The young lady persuaded the owner of the dump to give her a damaged car as a birthday present. After a little thought, the owner gives the main character a car that is practically of no value to him. When Charlie decided to put her gift in order, it suddenly transformed into a mechanical creature. The young lady understands that she is dealing not just with an old Volkswagen Beetle, but with a real alien robot. Watson, who had experienced a shock, recovered quite quickly.
