Through the Snow is a post-apocalyptic thriller by South Korean director Pon Joon Ho, based on the French graphic novel "Transperceneige" by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette.  The premiere in South Korea took place on August 1, 2013. In 2014, scientists launched a process designed to stop global warming on Earth by spraying the chemical CW-7 in the atmosphere, but the process got out of control, and eventually the Ice Age came. Seventeen years later, the world is shackled by ice and snow, and all this time a long express, launched by the railroad magnate Wilford (Ed Harris), is rushing non-stop along the round-the-world railway. Soon there is an event that has become the cause of another uprising: an assistant to the head of the train comes from the first cars and takes several small children with her.
